Winter Wheat

“Songs of struggle and fight rally listeners to action, but beneath those necessary calls to arms there has to be a belief that actions make a difference. ‘Winter Wheat’ is a quiet voice of reassurance when the disagreements die down and we’ve reached the limits of what we can accomplish in a single day. It reminds us that our survival of hardship is as natural as the hardship itself, and if the two are compatible, it’s only because they have to be.”
